Yes. Our partner network already covers sites in the IV area, though the local pool of officers is small and distances are long, so the control room plans each booking carefully and confirms availability before work starts.
The IV postcode area takes in Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, and a wide sweep of country around the Moray, Beauly, Cromarty and Dornoch firths. Inverness is the main retail, health and administrative centre for the region, with business parks, a growing campus and steady housebuilding on its outskirts. East along the A96, Nairn, Forres and Elgin serve Moray, where whisky distilling and food production are major employers. North of Inverness, the A9 runs up past Dingwall and Invergordon, whose deep-water port handles cruise ships and offshore energy work, to Tain and Dornoch. Large electricity grid and renewable energy projects have also brought construction compounds to the area.
Our network already supplies officers to sites in the IV area, but only a handful of officers live here, so we are careful not to overstate what is available. Cover for planned work in and around Inverness and along the A96 is very achievable. For sites further out on the Black Isle or up the A9, we plan travel time, rest breaks and handovers in advance, and longer projects sometimes involve officers staying locally for a run of shifts. Winter weather on the A9 and A96 can slow journeys, which we factor into rotas. Officers check in by GPS, receive welfare calls from the control room and record every occurrence in the client app.
Inverness is the starting point for most cover in the IV area, and our network already covers sites from there. Nairn, Forres and Elgin are reached along the A96, with Lossiemouth and Burghead a short way north of Elgin. Dingwall, Invergordon and Tain lie up the A9, and Dornoch beyond the Dornoch Firth bridge. Fortrose and Cromarty on the Black Isle involve narrower roads. Because officer numbers are low, the control room confirms every booking individually and may bring in officers from the AB and PH areas for longer projects.
