Yes. SIA-licensed security can be arranged for Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Bishop Auckland, Northallerton and the surrounding Dales, with officers drawn from our wider network and every booking confirmed by our 24/7 control room.
Darlington is a rail town on the East Coast Main Line, close to where the A1(M) meets the A66, and those links have made it a base for distribution and engineering firms. Newton Aycliffe has one of the largest industrial estates in the North East, with manufacturing plants that run shifts around the clock. Teesside International Airport sits just east of Darlington. West and south, the area opens up into County Durham's former coalfield towns, such as Bishop Auckland, Spennymoor and Shildon, then into the Yorkshire Dales, where Leyburn, Hawes and Middleham depend on farming, racehorse training and tourism. Catterick Garrison near Colburn and the county town of Northallerton add further variety.
We are open about the position here: fewer than five officers in our partner network live in the DL area, and no work has yet been completed in it through the platform. Cover is arranged from neighbouring areas, chiefly Teesside, Durham and North Yorkshire, and the control room confirms availability before accepting a booking. Darlington and Newton Aycliffe are realistic to staff; remote Dales villages need more planning. Whoever attends a DL site has the SIA licence the duty calls for and has cleared BS 7858 screening. The client app records GPS clock-in, welfare check-calls, a live occurrence log and incident reports with photos for every shift.
Darlington, Newton Aycliffe and Shildon are the core of practical coverage, all within easy reach of the A1(M) and A167. Bishop Auckland, Spennymoor and Crook are covered via the A688 and A689. Northallerton and Bedale lie on the North Yorkshire side, while Richmond, Leyburn and Barnard Castle are reached along the A66 and A6108. Hawes and Stanhope are remote, so the control room will check travel and availability carefully before confirming any cover in the upper dales.
