Yes, you can request SIA-licensed security cover in Northern Ireland. Cover here is arranged on request through our partner network, and the control room confirms availability before anything is booked.
Northern Ireland is a newer area for the Urgent Guard network, so we are open about how it works: we do not have an established presence across the BT postcode area yet. When you send a request for a site in Belfast, Lisburn, Newry or Armagh, the control room checks which partner companies and licensed officers can take the work and comes back to you with a confirmed answer, rather than taking a booking we cannot staff.
The work we are asked about most here mirrors other UK cities: construction and refurbishment sites that need overnight cover, empty commercial units awaiting re-letting, retail stores during busy trading periods, and warehouses near the main road corridors out of Belfast. Once cover is confirmed you get the same client app as everywhere else, with GPS clock-in, welfare check-calls, a live occurrence log and incident reports with photos.
Requests for Belfast, Lisburn, Newry and Armagh are handled by the same 24/7 control room as the rest of the UK. Because the network is still building its presence in Northern Ireland, each request is checked individually: the control room confirms officers, start time and your exact price before the booking is accepted. Planned cover with a few days' notice gives the best chance of a match; same-day requests are possible only when a suitable officer is available.
Tell us the site and what you need. The control room replies by phone or email, day or night, with officers and an exact price before anything is booked.
A clear price first. Nothing is booked until you agree it.
Long-term contracts, one-off shifts and same-day cover, subject to availability.
