We can arrange cover in the CH area, but few officers in our network live here, so SIA-licensed guards are usually drawn from neighbouring areas and availability is confirmed by our control room at the time of booking.
The CH area crosses the England-Wales border. On the English side it covers the historic city of Chester, the industrial and port town of Ellesmere Port on the Manchester Ship Canal, and the Wirral towns of Birkenhead, Wallasey, Bebington, Bromborough and Neston. On the Welsh side it takes in Deeside, Connah's Quay, Shotton, Flint and Mold, where large manufacturing plants and industrial parks sit along the Dee estuary. The M53, M56 and A55 make it a busy corridor between Merseyside, Manchester and North Wales, with outlet retail, distribution and heavy industry all present.
To be clear about where we stand: fewer than five officers in our network live in CH, and we have no completed work logged here yet. Cover is still possible, because Liverpool, Warrington and Crewe are all close, but it is arranged from the wider network rather than from a local team. The control room checks availability for every request and will tell you if a shift cannot be filled. Once on site, officers use the client app for GPS clock-in, check-calls and the occurrence log. Remote monitoring options, such as CCTV towers, can reduce the number of officers needed on large yards.
Requests for Chester, Ellesmere Port, Birkenhead, Wallasey, Connah's Quay, Shotton or Mold are handled by the control room, which sources officers from our network in neighbouring Liverpool, Warrington, Crewe and Wigan. The Wirral and Ellesmere Port are generally the easiest to reach from Merseyside, and Deeside via the A55 and A494. Advance notice makes a real difference here. Each shift is confirmed before it starts, and for recurring work we try to keep the same officers attached to your site.
