Yes. Officers in our partner network who live around Bolton and Bury can be booked for static guarding, patrols and site security across the BL area, with every shift confirmed by our 24/7 control room.
BL sits on the north-western edge of Greater Manchester. Bolton has a large town centre, a university and a mix of older mills and modern business parks, while Bury is known for its market and has its own retail centre and industrial estates. Horwich and Westhoughton straddle the M61, where the retail and leisure development at Middlebrook and a run of distribution units take advantage of quick motorway access. Blackrod is smaller and mostly residential. The M60 and M66 link the area to the rest of the conurbation, and the West Pennine Moors rise immediately north.
Most enquiries here come from logistics and trade operators along the M61, retailers on busy retail parks, developers building new housing on former industrial land, and landlords with empty units. We have not yet recorded completed work in BL, so cover is arranged through local officers in our network and confirmed by the control room before the shift. Officers hold the SIA licence their role requires and are screened to BS 7858, and the client app shows GPS clock-in, check-calls and the live occurrence log. Retail parks often want extra visible presence in the weeks before Christmas, so that is worth planning early.
With a solid number of officers in our network living locally, Bolton, Bury, Horwich, Westhoughton and Blackrod can usually be staffed from within the area. The wider Greater Manchester network, along with officers in Wigan and Oldham, gives extra capacity for large sites or same-week requests. The control room confirms each shift before it starts and tracks attendance through the app. For ongoing contracts we aim to keep a regular team so officers know your access routes, alarm procedures and key contacts.
