Yes. Our partner network has officers living in the PR area and already covers sites here, so the control room can book static guarding, patrols and keyholding in Preston and the surrounding towns, subject to availability.
Preston sits where the M6 meets the M55 and M61, which makes the PR postcode a natural stop for distribution, trade and manufacturing businesses serving the wider North West. Leyland and Chorley carry a long engineering and vehicle-building heritage, Penwortham and Longridge are largely residential with busy local retail, and the area runs out west to the seaside town of Southport. The city centre also has a large university campus and a major hospital, both of which generate reception, out-of-hours and car park work. Housing growth on the edges of the city adds construction sites that sit empty overnight and at weekends.
Our network already covers sites in the area and has officers who live locally, so most requests in Preston, Leyland and Chorley can be filled without long journeys. Rural sites toward Garstang or Kirkham may draw on officers from Blackpool or Blackburn instead. Whatever the location, the booking runs through the same 24/7 control room: one number to call, officers who hold the SIA licence their role needs, and a live occurrence log you can check in the app. If a shift needs changing mid-week, the same control room handles it, day or night, without you chasing individual officers.
Preston, Leyland, Penwortham and Chorley form the core of cover in PR, with officers living close to most sites along the M6 and M61. Southport is served too, though it sits apart on the coast and some shifts there are filled from Liverpool-side officers. For Garstang, Longridge, Kirkham and Medlar-with-Wesham the control room checks travel times before confirming, because rural sites without public transport need an officer with their own vehicle.
