Yes. Officers from our partner network live in the SM area and nearby south London postcodes, and the 24/7 control room books guarding, patrols and keyholding here, confirming availability for each request.
SM is a compact, largely residential postcode on the southern edge of London, covering Sutton, Cheam, Carshalton, Wallington and Morden before reaching across the Surrey border to Banstead. Security work here tends to be smaller in scale than in central London: town-centre retail in Sutton, local offices and council buildings, hospital and healthcare sites, schools, and a steady flow of residential infill and redevelopment projects. Empty shops and offices between tenants are also common, and these usually need patrols or keyholding rather than a full-time guard, with an officer able to attend when an alarm activates.
A reasonable number of officers in our network live in SM, and many more in the neighbouring Croydon, Kingston and south-west London postcodes. The platform has not yet logged completed shifts here, so we do not imply a history of work in Sutton. What you get is the same process used across the network: the control room confirms the officer, the officer holds the SIA licence their role requires and is screened to BS 7858, and the client app shows the GPS clock-in, welfare check-calls and every occurrence as it is logged.
Sutton town centre and Cheam are the core of the area, easy to reach for officers living locally or in nearby Croydon. Carshalton and Wallington are covered from the same pool, and Morden sits on the Northern line for officers travelling from south-west London. Banstead, just over the Surrey border, is reached along the A217 and may be staffed from the Kingston or Redhill side. The control room confirms every officer and start time before a booking is accepted.
