The EN area straddles the northern edge of Greater London and the Hertfordshire and Essex borders, with the M25 running across it. The Lea Valley is its industrial backbone: Brimsdown and the estates along the A1055 have warehouses, manufacturing units, trade counters and waste and recycling sites, and the corridor continues north through Waltham Cross, Cheshunt and Hoddesdon, where glasshouse horticulture has long been part of the landscape. Enfield Town and Barnet have busy retail centres, while Waltham Abbey sits beside the M25 with distribution sites and the Lee Valley parkland. The A10 and A1(M) link the area to central London and the north, which keeps demand high for logistics and construction security.
Fewer than five officers in our partner network live within the EN postcodes, and the network has no completed bookings here yet, so we will not claim a local presence. What helps is that the neighbouring North and East London areas have large numbers of network officers, many of whom can reach Enfield and the Lea Valley quickly.
