Security guards across Birmingham, Solihull & Sutton Coldfield

Security in Birmingham

The B area stretches from the city core out to Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, West Bromwich, Halesowen, Redditch, Bromsgrove and Tamworth. It is where the M5, M6, M42 and M6 Toll meet, which makes it a natural base for warehousing and distribution, especially towards Coleshill and the airport side of the city. In the centre, office towers, residential blocks and the retail core sit alongside big regeneration zones such as Digbeth, the Jewellery Quarter and the land around the new HS2 terminus, so there is a steady flow of construction, fit-out and empty-building work.

Our network already covers sites across Birmingham, mainly static guarding and concierge or front-of-house work, and a large pool of officers lives within the area. That depth matters when you need a relief officer at short notice or a team for a large site. Officers hold the SIA licence their role requires and are screened to BS 7858. Through the client app you can see GPS clock-in times, welfare check-calls, patrol notes and incident reports with photos, which is useful when you are managing several buildings across the city. Large sites can be split into day and night teams with a named lead officer.
