Yes, though fewer than five officers in our partner network live in the SP area. The network already covers sites here, mostly at night, and staffs shifts from neighbouring areas, with availability confirmed by the 24/7 control room when you book.
SP is a largely rural postcode spanning south Wiltshire, north-west Hampshire and the northern edge of Dorset. Salisbury is the main centre, a cathedral city with retail, offices, a hospital and a strong visitor trade. Andover, on the A303, has grown into a distribution and business location. Around Amesbury, Tidworth and Ludgershall the area is closely tied to Salisbury Plain and its military communities, with steady housing and infrastructure construction. To the south and west, Wilton, Fordingbridge, Shaftesbury and Gillingham are market towns surrounded by farmland, where security needs are usually smaller and less frequent.
We want to be plain about our position here. The network already covers sites in SP, mainly with night shifts, but only a handful of officers live in the area. Most shifts are staffed by officers from Southampton, Bournemouth, Swindon and Bath, which means travel time is part of every booking and advance notice makes a real difference. Once an officer is confirmed, you see the same detail as anywhere else in the client app: GPS clock-in, welfare check-calls from the control room and a live occurrence log with photos.
Salisbury and Wilton are the most practical places to staff, reached by officers travelling from Southampton along the A36 or from Bournemouth. Andover is covered from the A303 and the Basingstoke side, and Amesbury, Tidworth and Ludgershall from either direction. Fordingbridge sits on the A338 toward Bournemouth. Shaftesbury and Gillingham, on the Dorset edge, are the furthest from our officer base, so the control room checks travel and availability carefully before confirming a booking there.
