Yes. Officers from our partner network already work on sites in the GU area, and SIA-licensed guards can be booked for Guildford, Woking, Farnborough, Aldershot and the surrounding towns through our 24/7 control room.
The GU area covers west Surrey and the neighbouring corners of Hampshire and West Sussex. Guildford is the county's main commercial centre, with a university, a research park, a busy shopping centre and a cathedral. Woking is a major commuter town with significant office and residential development around the station. Farnborough is home to the aerospace industry and a biennial international airshow, while Aldershot has long been a military town and Sandhurst is the home of the Royal Military Academy. The A3, M3 and A31 carry heavy traffic through the area. To the south, Haslemere, Petersfield, Midhurst and Petworth sit in and around the South Downs, where estates, rural businesses and country events are more typical.
Our partner network already supplies officers to sites in the GU area, and some network officers live here, with larger or longer contracts also drawing on neighbouring Reading, Kingston and Portsmouth. Officers placed on Surrey and Hampshire sites carry the SIA licence for their duties and are screened to BS 7858. Each booking is confirmed by the 24/7 control room on 0800 471 4792. The client app records GPS clock-in, welfare check-calls, a live occurrence log and incident reports with photos, which helps facilities teams managing several sites across Surrey and Hampshire keep a consistent record without visiting each one.
Guildford, Woking and Godalming are reached along the A3 and A320, and Farnborough, Aldershot, Fleet and Farnham sit close together on the Surrey and Hampshire border near the M3. Sandhurst, Yateley and Blackwater are covered from the same side. Alton and Bordon lie further west along the A31 and A325, while Haslemere, Petersfield, Midhurst and Petworth are more rural, so the control room will check travel and availability carefully before confirming cover in the south of the area.
